Ximena’s story of her volunteer experience at Matsumoto Backpackers hostel
I started my trip around Japan in the crazy and amazing city of Tokyo.
Then I headed to Matsumoto city in the Nagano prefecture. I did not know very much about this place but I wanted to experience how it was to live in a small and peaceful town.
The snow welcomed me in the Sunday afternoon I arrived, it was such a beautiful spectacle. The first place to visit of course was the Matsumoto Castle, which surrounded by the white trees, and the lake, looked like a miracle. So I felt extremely lucky to be there.
During the next days I started my way to discover what Matsumoto had to offer.
